1 Arrival — COMO Uma Paro
Arrive at Paro International Airport and transfer to COMO Uma Paro. Visit Paro town and a local temple for gentle acclimatisation.
2 Paro Valley Walks & Sacred Temples
Hike through pine forest to Zuri Dzong and the Ta Dzong National Museum. Tour Rinpung Dzong and cross the traditional cantilever bridge. Visit Kyichu Lhakhang (7th century) and Drukgyal Dzong ruins.
3 Chele La Pass — Haa Valley — Kila Goemba
Drive over Chele La Pass (3,988m) with views of Mount Jumolhari. Hike through rhododendron forest to Kila Goemba nunnery. Descend into the secluded Haa Valley, opened to visitors only in 2002.
4 Tiger's Nest Pilgrimage & Wellness
Morning climb to Paro Taktsang (Tiger's Nest), the sacred monastery 900m above the valley where Guru Rinpoche meditated in the 8th century. Return for afternoon steam room or traditional hot stone bath at Uma Paro.
5 Departure from Paro
Early breakfast at Uma Paro before airport transfer.
